Welcome to the Oxford Parent Teacher Organization. Our efforts and funding make thousands of dollars worth of trips, special guests and events possible each year across the district.  We are a volunteer based organization. Donations of all types are appreciated. Your registration alone contributes directly to our efforts. Whether you are able to be with us only in registration and spirit, to join us in meetings to voice your opinion, to contribute your time at an event, or to supply a donation to further enrich the lives of the children of Oxford, we appreciate you.

Ongoing/Annual Events

This is one of our most popular events when we host it, and it gives parents a chance to head out for a night on the town.  We typically host the event at a local hotel to give adults a chance to have a great night and take a little time for themselves, all while raising money for a fantastic cause. Our annual book fair is always a hit and co-hosted with our Ice Cream Social!  Come down and buy a book for your child, and get some free ice cream afterwards and meet parents and staff!  Check our Contact Us page and look for coordinator if you have questions or feedback.

You may have seen the logo “Box Top” on many of the items at your local grocery store.  We are collecting them to raise money and hope to spread the word as much as possible.  Check our Contact Us page and look for coordinator if you have questions or feedback.

The PTO will often raise money by sponsoring trips to various entertainment venues.  Historically we have been to stadiums for Major League Baseball Games or the casino for a night out, and are always open to new ways to generate funds for the children in the community.  Buses all have a bathroom, and the trip is typically a great way to connect with other people in town!

Every year we welcome your unwanted clothing in a one day drive to raise money.  We use a vendor that pays the PTO by the pound.  It is a great way to recycle and raise money!  Check our Contact Us page and look for coordinator if you have questions or feedback.

Every year the PTO participates in a holiday function that raises money for the children of the Oxford school district.  We typically pitch in with a number of gift cards, and then raffle off the trees.

Our diligent volunteers bring you scoops of ice cream for free.  The event is held at the same time of the book fair and gives people a chance to meet and greet.  Donation jar is out but there is never an expectation, stop in and have a scoop on us!  Check our Contact Us page and look for coordinator if you have questions or feedback.

This is not a fundraising event, but a great way for the PTO to bring the community together.  Members of the Technical Investigation Unit perform a live demonstration each year of the leading apps, and websites.  Leaders of the community also make themselves available during the event so parents can see how technology is being utilized in the schools, and what law enforcement officials are seeing as far as trends. Support local businesses and your school by supporting the PTO during our plant sale.  Worried you may not have a green thumb?  That’s ok we host the event every year!  Check our Contact Us page and look for coordinator if you have questions or feedback.

Order a number of retail gift cards through the Scrip Program to earn money for our Oxford schools.  The cards cost no additional money, but a portion of the purchase is set aside and given back to the PTO!

Every year we have large trucks that come to one of the schools to shred sensitive documents on site.  You pay for a bag, fill it, and give it to the shredder while proceeds go to the PTO to help fund programs for our children!  Check our Contact Us page and look for coordinator if you have questions or feedback.

Welcome to the start of a new school year and another year of A+ School Rewards.  Why not donate money to an Oxford School at NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU by earning cash through Stop & Shop A+ School Rewards Program.

After you register your card, each shopping trip at any Stop & Shop using your STOP & SHOP CARD earns CASH for our school!  Each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Stop & Shop website.  You can track the amount of points you earn for our school by checking your grocery receipt and online when you create an account at www.stopandshop.com.  Our school will receive a check at the end of the program. The money can be used for any of our school’s educational needs.

Remember, even if you registered your card last year, you must re-register this year for our school to receive credit.  Attending to this simple process makes a HUGE difference to our school.  We need your support.  Please be sure to register your card to benefit
